Any Immigration application may take 6-12 months to complete unless it’s a fast track application.

In an immigration application several fees are involved including visa fee, immigration health surcharge, Biometric enrolment fee, fast track fee and or any expert or medical report fees.

We act either on hourly rate basis and or offer fixed fee agreement to client on the whole process of application. Normally an application unless it’s a complex matter take around 6-8 hours work to complete the application for entry clearance of a spouse, visitor, student, highly skilled migrant and or dependent child or parent cases. We do advise on asylum and human rights and domestic violence cases. We normally refer cases to local legal aid firms where legal aid is possible unless client wishes to choose representation of their choice.
Our professional fee begins at £250.00 per hour with fixed fee application costs beginning from £600-£1200 subject to the work involved. However the cost of the application varies subject to the complexity involved.

The professional fee is excluded from the Home Office fee and Immigration Health Surcharge which will depend on the type of application that is being made and the period that a visa is being applied for. Visa and application Fees are advised on the outset and are clearly available on home office website for a cross check. Link as under: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/visa-regulations-revised-table/home-office-immigration-and-nationality-fees-31-january-2024

In an Immigration application there are many stages from initial advice and consultation to making application, submitting online application, uploading evidence with the application, any expert evidence and advising on any interviews and perusal and advice on a decision and options on the decision if its negative. We tend to advise on each step in the earliest advice letter in consultation and our advice letter. Key stages include from file opening to lodging an application, submitting evidence and biometric enrolment and getting a decision and limitation to appeals.

If matter is refused, an applicant can appeal in some cases to an immigration appeals tribunal. We represent our clients to such appeals. That is a separate transaction and we advise and assist in all kind of appeal in immigration sector. We offer hour rate and or a fixed fee excluding court fee , barrister fee and or any experts fee that is involved in the case i.e GP report, psychiatric report etc. Fees are quoted in advance and payments are made on invoice by experts.

In Immigration cases, only VAT is paid on disbursements on invoice. In some immigration cases where applicant is making an application from abroad, and or a person who has no leave in UK VAT is not payable , in that case experts are informed to amend invoice accordingly.
